For new student applicants: Once the new account is created, login and begin the scholarship application process by clicking on “New Student Scholarship Application” at the top left-hand portion of this page. Follow the instructions and fill out all three sections of this application. A transcript is NOT required for first time applicants.
For returning student applicants: Login and begin the scholarship application process by clicking “Returning Student Scholarship Application” at the top of this page. Follow the instructions and submit the application.
Returning student applicants must submit an Official Transcript MAILED BY THE SCHOOL to our office NO LATER than July 1st, but not BEFORE the end of this current semester. The cumulative GPA for both Fall and Winter/Spring semesters must be on the transcript. The address is under the “CONTACT” section of this website at the top of this page.
Once the scholarship application is processed by the LHM Education Foundation, a notification letter will be sent via USPS, no later than August 5th.
Detailed instructions will then be sent via email and USPS on how to obtain tuition funding and book reimbursements. These instructions can also be found under the “PROCESS” section of this website at the top of the page.
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to the Larry H. Miller Education Foundation and the Miller family. The generosity and support that come from this scholarship has allowed me to let go of the financial stressors each semester of my college education, and rather focus on the classes I am taking so that one day I can make some incredibly positive changes to the business world with my degree. I was one of many lucky recipients of the Larry H. Miller Education Foundation scholarship throughout all four years of my undergraduate degree. I wanted to take a moment to send you my sincerest gratitude and let you know the great impact the scholarship had on my education. By lightening the financial burden, I was able to focus on obtaining my goals. Thanks to your generosity, I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in physiology with a minor in public health. Since then, I have applied and been accepted to dental school. I will begin the next chapter of my educational journey this fall. I hope to one day be able to help other students obtain their goals as you have helped me.
I am deeply appreciative of the LHM Education Foundation. Because of the scholarship, I have been able to obtain a higher quality education by being able to further my focus on learning. Additionally, not having to work to pay tuition has enabled me to serve more in the community and in my church.
If your school is listed below, you DO NOT have to submit a funding form or required docments.
PLEASE, be aware that most schools do not direct bill the LHM Education Foundation until two months or more into the semester. Your name will be on a sponsored student list to hold your classes until payment is received.
ONLY returning students need to send an Official Transcript sent by the school and received in our office BEFORE July 1, 2023. The transcript must be AFTER the Spring semester and show the last completed semester. Please, have the school MAIL the Official Transcript to: LHM Education Foundation c/o Amara Blackburn 9350 South 150 East Suite 1000, Sandy, Utah 84070. Digital transcripts are NOT accepted, for any reason.
