Process
The Larry H. and Gail Miller Education Foundation Scholarship Details
- Covers up to $5,000 per semester/quarter, not to exceed $10,000 per academic year.
- Student must be full-time (12 + credits) to receive funding. If classes drop below full-time during a funded semester, the entire funds must be repaid to the Education Foundation.
- Covers only tuition and mandatory class fees. It does not cover room and board, healthcare fees, transportation or parking fees.
- Any remaining tuition due is your responsibility. If tuition is more than the scholarship amount, be prepared to pay the balance to your school by the deadline.
- The scholarship offers a $300 book reimbursement, only for course required books, per semester/quarter.
1STEP
Register for classes at your respective college or university for the current semester.
2STEP
Go to the Tuition Funding Form link to complete the required information for each semester.
3STEP
Upload your current semester schedule that shows your classes and full-time credits. Your name and student number must also be included on the schedule. This must be legible and uploaded as a PDF. Screenshots are acceptable but no photos will be accepted.
4STEP
Upload an itemized financial statement/invoice of your student account that shows the tuition amount and balance owing. Your name and student number MUST be on this financial statement. Screenshots are acceptable; however photos will NOT be accepted.
5STEP
Once steps 2 - 4 are complete, you will receive an email from the LHM Education Foundation indicating we have received all required documentation.
6STEP
Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for your tuition to be processed, mailed, and funded. Once your school receives the check, it also needs to be processed by their department. Please understand this is a process which requires time. We appreciate your patience.
7STEP
Once your required books have been purchased, please go to the Book Reimbursement Form link to submit and upload the required receipts in PDF format. Please allow up to 60 days to receive your reimbursement. Screenshots and photos are acceptable but must be clear and legible.
8STEP
These steps MUST BE repeated EACH semester for tuition to be funded.
To Do And Be Aware Of
- Contact your school’s financial aid or scholarship office to inform them you have received this scholarship. You may be asked to provide the scholarship acceptance letter and give the school permission to speak with us as a third-party scholarship servicer.
- Be aware of your school’s financial aid deadlines. Maintaining and verifying status of this scholarship is your responsibility.
- Tuition is paid directly to your school, students will not be reimbursed for tuition.
